What's in our water supply... Chlorine, Chloramines, PFAS & More...

Water utilities use chlorine, chloramines or both in water distribution. Many whole house water filters do not remove chloramines. Our Lifeguard Water Filter does along with chlorine to a leading 97% +.
It's true disinfection in water supply is needed. Without it bacteria grows. But with these needed disinfection chemicals, are slower long term illnesses happening?

What are chloramines?

• Chloramines are disinfectants added to public water.
• Chloramines are most commonly formed when ammonia is added to chlorine to treat drinking water. Does not easily break down.

What is PFAS?

PFAS are indestructible synthetic chemicals that can cause:
